12 Tribes Shares the Success of 8th Annual “Sabor a Cabo” Festival<br><br><br>

On December 1st the Los Cabos foodie scene was abuzz while celebrating the 8th Annual “Sabor a Cabo” (The Flavors of Cabo) Gastronomy and Wine Event. Renowned chefs and guests from around the globe gathered at Club Campestre San Jose – one of the destination’s most spectacular developments – for an evening of fine food, perfectly paired wines and live entertainment under the stars.

Our very own 12 Tribes Restaurant was among the participants cooking up some of our signature dishes. In fact, it is our 5th year since we joined this prestigious annual event, which has attracted more than 5,000 attendees since its inception.

Sabor a Cabo is organized by CANIRAC Los Cabos and its current President, Carmen Carbajal, described the event by saying: “Sabor a Cabo offers guests, visitors and residents alike an opportunity to experience the very best in gastronomy and wine offered anywhere in all of Mexico.” And this year’s edition only proved these words to be very true with record participation and highly positive response.

Among the highlights this year was the participation of Michelin-star chefs from Japan who cooked for 50 VIP guests. Special dinners for VIP Tables were prepared by guest chefs Makato Okamoto of Tokyo, Masayuki Niikura, Manuel Arredondo, Angel Carbajal, Salvatore Messina and Chef Paolo Della Corte offering a true feast for all senses.

Live entertainment was also first-class with the performance by celebrity DJ, Roman Rosati, and guest stars from other genres offering great musical variety throughout the evening.

Following our five-year participation in Sabor a Cabo, we’re very proud to be a part of this impressive festival and are already looking forward to next year’s edition.
