Casa Dorada Welcomes New Chef Life & News - July 26, 2011
It’s always exciting to welcome new members into our team and last week our Cabo beachfront resort got richer once again.
We threw a little welcome party on the deck of 12 Tribes Restaurant for our new Executive Chef, Carlos Bonilla Souberbielle. He will be taking charge of the culinary program at the resort and it sounds like he already has plenty of scrumptious ideas up his sleeve.
At the presentation we heard about his inspiring background and his new book, as well as the approach he takes to cooking. He calls it Cuisine Bohème and it has to do with using basic techniques with the best ingredients and turning it all into a personal composition. Sounds good to me!
We will also have a new menu at 12 Tribes and I can’t wait to try it. Oh, did I say that Mexican touches are our new Chef’s thing? Yep. And that just about makes it perfect for my taste.
