Hello Everyone! Today I am very excited to share something extra special with all of you. Earlier this week, I received a fun email from one of our former guests. Konny and her husband, Achim, from Germany visited our Cabo beachfront resort in April and had a wonderful time. Now, back in cloudy and chilly Germany they are remembering their Cabo vacation with a big smile.

In fact, Konny told me that in order to bring back some of the great memories, they decided to prepare a cocktail that I once prepared for them here at the Okianus Bar. I gave them the recipe so they could enjoy it at home. And they did!

With the email came a photo of their favorite Cabo cocktail served thousands of miles away.

And here goes their take on this traditional recipe.

For each serving you’ll need:

• 2 oz. tequila
• 4 oz. orange juice
• 3/4 oz. grenadine

To prepare, mix ice, orange juice and tequila in a shaker and serve in a cocktail glass. Then add grenadine trying not to mix the layers. Garnish with an orange slice and enjoy.
