New Lunch Menu at 12 Tribes and a Video to Whet Your Appetite
With the beginning of summer upon us, we are excited to announce the introduction of a new lunch menu now being served at 12 Tribes Restaurant.
This creative menu will take you on an exciting journey through twelve different regions of Mexico; (hence, our name) thanks to the diversity of flavors, textures and aromas. By understanding the local culinary culture of these regions, their ingredients and techniques, our Executive Chef, Carlos Bonilla Souberbielle, creates a different perspective into what we call “Contemporary Mexican Cuisine”.
Expect many of the traditional stars of Mexican cooking such as Mushroom Quesadillas with homemade corn tortillas, Fajitas, Chicken Enchiladas, Chile Relleno, Arrachera Burritos or Tacos, but you’ll also find some dishes you may have not tried before such as Shrimp Sopecitos: corn-flour patties topped with refried beans, fresh cheese, lettuce, and radish, served with our trio of salsas.
For seafood lovers there’s Mexican-Style Seafood Cocktail, Sautéed Red Snapper, or Sautéed Pacific Cabrilla a la Mexicana, plus everyone’s all-time favorite Coconut Shrimp with our secret mango sauce.
For a small appetite, the Seasonal Fruit Salad with refreshing mint yogurt dressing makes for a perfect lunch on a hot Cabo day, while the traditional Caesar Salad will be a safe choice for the undecided.
