In 1989 the par 72 Cabo Real Golf Club was developed with 18 holes of the highest level, designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones II. Home to two PGA Senior Slams and a host of other prestigious golf tournaments, the 6,988-yard Cabo Real Golf Club winds through scenic cactus lined canyons, hills and arroyos down to the shoreline where the desert meets the sea. Its three spectacular ocean front holes put Los Cabos on the golf world map in 1996 when whales put on a spectacular show breaching just yards offshore during the Senior Slam golf tournament. Long considered the favorite of many pros, the Cabo Real course is a must during any visit. |
