Independence Day Celebrations in Full Swing at Casa Dorada
We may just be getting ready for the big fiesta tomorrow night with music, tequila, great Mexican food and fireworks across Medano Beach, but the celebration has already been underway since the beginning of this month.
Once at Casa Dorada, you won’t be able to miss all the green-white-and-red adornments such as beautiful flower arrangements in common areas or whimsically decorated Casa Kidz. And even if you do happen to miss these, take a good look at our staff! I didn’t think these guys could look any more Mexican UNTIL I saw them with their new Zapata look! How cool is that! You may even get one of those mustaches for yourself…
And then there’s festive food. While you can surely get your burger or salad this week, it would be unforgivable not to try our special 4-course Independence Day Menu. It will only be available for one week (16-21 September) and is priced at $55 USD per person.
You’ll start with Chicken “Chalupitas” with red and green salsa and chicken in chipotle pepper adobo, followed by Rabbit Tamales (I bet you haven’t tried those). For main course, you’ll choose between three legendary Mexican dishes: Chiles en Nogada, Poblano Mole and Green Mole. And for the perfect ending, a truly traditional dessert: Guava Almond Cake, Roasted Sweet Potato Candy and Mamey Ice Cream.
Simply too tempting to pass up.
Provecho and Viva Mexico!
